Thinkers Vs. Doers
May turn this into a full-out blog post, but for now, here’s the general idea.
There are two types out there: Thinkers (Seth Godin, Armano, Kevin Kelly) who spark ideas, explain and enlighten. And there are Doers (Annie Heckenberger, Brains on Fire) who actually are out there executing. Not to say that the Thinkers don’t execute and the Doers don’t come up with great ideas, but most people tend to lean one way or the other.
Most people like listening to the Thinkers because it helps them with their issues/objectives. Sure it’s nice to know what the Doers are doing, but it might not necessarily help me.
